Synopsis
While honeymooning through the southwest United States, a young man is inexplicably hunted down and abducted by the crew of an ambulance. His wife, a German student, narrowly escapes the attack and finds unexpected help from a truck driver hauling frozen sides of beef from Texas to New York. Together, they follow the trail of the missing husband—straight into the deadly web of a vast criminal syndicate. Their discovery is more terrifying than they could have imagined: a ruthless trade in human beings, abducted to serve as living “flesh” for the organ banks of the world’s wealthiest clients.
